“brutal” escalation by Israel

“disruptions” in Red Sea by not mentioned

Not exactly fair and balanced

Consistently so. The hardly mentioned villain in this piece is Iran. It has chosen to prioritize supporting anti Sunni and anti Jewish efforts in the region way over its own. economic growth. On economics read Tooze, but on politics read Tom Friedman.

imagine genuinely thinking this when israel has exterminated 100k palestinians and put 2m in a famine, while exterminating 1000 lebanese. but yeah man big bad iran!

IDK who you're trying convince but everything I've seen is Israel has no interest in peace and only wants to escalate, often with barbaric, terrorist tactics.

Thanks for responding. The issue was “fair and balanced”. I guess you don’t read Friedman, hardly an apologist for Netanyahu. Nor am I. But on the economics reread Tooze. While the Gulf States are flourishing Iran and the groups it supports have all slept.

Just because it's not biased in your favor, doesn't mean it's not "fair and balanced". The last thing Israel wants is fairness or balance. They want apartheid, literally "apartness"

Love how this guy said the last four years of economic policy were at least "an A-" and the negative externalities of those policies is just, all of this, horrifying.

But of course being a hoity toity academic in the ivory tower, it doesn't count because it happened to brown people in a country that isn't America, so be sure to go vote for more of it, right?

The majority of Jews in Israel, not to mention Arab, Bedouin, and Druze citizens, are “brown” people with origins throughout the MENA region, not Europe.
