The big news of the week so far is the announcement of the giant trade pact in Asia. Chartbook #2 collects a range of data on the significance of the trade deal, the course of the pandemic, climate policy challenges facing the incoming Biden administration, IMF analysis of public and private investment and the business of sport.
In future issues of this new venture, I am going to be moving down a twin track. The chartbook newsletter sent to you from substack will focus on one or two key issues, two to three times per week. It will be selective and focused. I will continue to post the big compilations in the style of chartbook #1 and #2 to adamtooze.com.
